New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked media workers to educate people about artificial intelligence (AI) and deep fake. He was speaking to the media at the party headquarters as part of BJP’s Diwali Milan programme.
The Prime Minister’s response comes in the context of the spread of deepfake videos of actresses. Modi said that he recently came across a video of himself singing.

“Using AI to create deepfake videos is a big concern. ChatGPT has been asked to flag deepfakes with a special warning. Be warned about what is circulating on the internet.
In this age of AI, it is important to use technology responsibly. The media should educate the people about the issue” said Modi. “Recently I happened to see a video of me singing. Forwarded by those who love me.” The Prime Minister gave an example while raising the issue of deep fake.

Meanwhile, actress Rashmika Mandana’s deep fake video has gone viral on social media in recent days. When the actress came against this, the issue gained a lot of news importance. Also, actress Kajol’s deep fake video was also on social media.
