With Renault India getting ready to hit market by the month of October with their all-new Captur SUV, the company has started off the bookings for their latest model. The bookings are available on the Renault CAPTUR App and Renault India website and the initial token amount is INR 25,000. Coming both in petrol and diesel variants, Renault Captur will also have some personalized features such as Diamond Deck and Urban Connect, and multi-colour roof styling options.
The SUV also features Innovative Lighting Systems (ILS) with full LED headlamps and unique floating side indicators. It is also informed that LED headlamps would be integrated in C-shaped Sapphire LED DRLs. Company ensures instantly recognizable lighting signature to the car. Company made it clear that Captur’s ground clearance of 210mm would be unchallenged by most in this category. Along with these, comes dual airbags, side airbags, Antilock-Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) & Brake Assist, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Hill Start Assist etc.
Captur will have a 7 inch navigation display system, which features radio and Bluetooth technology, voice recognition (for iOS), maps along with temperature and time display. Restricting the speed of the vehicle according to the various situations, Captur comes with a Cruise Control feature that helps maintaining a pre-selected speed without acceleration
Inside the cabin, Captur will have a 6-way adjustable ErgoDesign white leather seats. The petrol variant is powered by a 1.5L 4-cylinder H4K engine – developing 104bhp at 5600rpm and 142Nm at 4000rpm, clubbed with its 5-speed manual transmission. Whereas the diesel variant is of a 1.5L 4-cylinder K9K engine, delivering a maximum power of 108bhp at 4000rpm and peak torque of 240Nm at 1750rpm; the variant however comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
