Reverie Language Technologies has recently released a survey result, which positioned India as a global leader in creating internet related jobs over the next 5 years. Commenting that Indian internet space would be creating some 50 million jobs by 2017, Reverie reports further showcased that it would the increasing presence of Indian languages in the internet, which is going to determine the future of the industry. Their report further added that government would need to take bold initiatives in promoting the presence of regional languages in the internet space.
Another major point highlighted by Reverie reports is that the cost of internet is going to witness a drastic decrease in the future – enabling more Indians in participating in the virtual platforms.
