Veteran Mollywood director Sibi Malayil is teaming up with the actors Roshan Mathew and Asif Ali for his next political thriller titled ‘Kotthu’. Now, the film has been certified with U/A certificate from the censor board.
Asif Ali took to his official Instagram handle to share a new poster from ‘Kotthu’ and penned a note that read, “Coming soon.”

‘Kotthu’ is touted to be a political thriller written by Hemanth Kumar and the cinematography is done by Prasanth Raveendran who is best known for the films ‘Loham’, ‘Ezhamathe Varavu’, ‘Pullipulikalum Aattinkuttiyum’, ‘Indian Rupee’, and ‘Kaattu’.
Apart from Roshan Mathew and Asif Ali, ‘Kotthu’ has an ensemble cast. Actors Nikhila Vimal, Sudev Nair, Suresh Krishna, Vijilesh Karayad, and Ranjith will be playing pivotal roles in the film.
The film is bankrolled by the production banner of Ranjith and PM Sasidharan.
