Sibi Malayil’s directorial ‘Kotthu’ featuring Asif Ali, Nikhila Vimal, and Roshan Mathew in the lead role was released on Friday. Roshan Mathew has now penned a heartwarming note, lauding his co-star Asif Ali.
Sharing a picture with Asif Ali, Roshan Mathew penned, “@asifali is incredible as Shanu is Kotthu. What he has done is unforgettable. It’s so refreshing to see this man play a “hero” who does not know that he is the hero of the story. Shanu is so completely a victim of his circumstances and it’s delicious how vulnerable and relatable Asifikka has made him. Tons of credit to Siby sir and Hemant chettan also for that, of course (sic).”
He further added, “But this post is also for the Asifikka I’ve known in life. A+ guy, super honest, so full of heart, unbearable amounts of fun, equal portion of reckless madness, and someone whose back I’d jump on without missing a beat. (Because I know he has mine. #Bromance max) I love you Asif Ali! (sic).”
