Royal Enfield has come up with their latest model to the Indian turf, though limited in production. Launching the Classic 500 Pegasus in India for INR 2.40 Lakh, Royal Enfield has presented the market, a retro styled motorcycle, which is themed against the RE/WD 125 of the WWII times. Out of a total of 1,000 units going for sale worldwide, RE would bring 250 units before the Indian market.
The Royal Enfield Classic 500 Pegasus is available in Service Brown color, while the Olive Drab Green paint scheme is not going to be made available before the Indian market. Powered by a 499cc single – cylinder, air cooled engine, the Classic 500 Pegasus would develop 27.2 bhp of peak power at 5,250 rpm; the peak torque figure stands at 41.3 Nm at 4,000 rpm.
