Cab aggregator S3 is all set to launch operations in Mumbai. The operations of S3, which is backed by city based mid sized logistics payer Bharat Freight Group, has got as many as 700 cabs in its kitty. While speaking about the operations, CEO of S3, Sohel Kazani informed that the service would not be charging for the first INR 1,800 equivalent ride every day, while for the amount up above, they would only be charging at 10 percent. Now, he has converted the math to the standards with which Ola and Uber functions. According to him, the price, which S3 charges would only make about 50 percent of what the leading players charge.
The service would be formally launched by Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis. The operations would kick start by the second week of May.
