Sai Pallavi made her acting debut with the film Premam. Later, the actor got several opportunities. But the actor chose the characters very selectively without saying yes to all the offers coming.
As the actor received good response in her first film, Sai Pallavi chose her films very selectively saying that she would choose films that best fits her role. Though the number of films done are low comparatively, the actor is happy that they have performed well at the box office.
Sai Pallavi had given another explanation for initially taking a break from the film. The actress, who was studying for an MBBS in Georgia at the time, said she would only pursue acting after completing her studies.
Today, the actor mostly does film in other languages. Recently, Shyam Singha Roy, starring Nani and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles, was released. She was seen in the film as Devadasi ‘Maithri’. Shyam Singha Roy was theatrically released on 24 December 2021 and opened to mixed reviews with critics praising the performances while criticizing the screenplay.
