After making his debut in Malayalam cinema with the mega-hit film ‘Angamaly Diaries’, Sarath Appani, the young actor of the Malayalam industry, is taking his career to the next stage. On this Vishu day, which is also the actor’s birthday, announced his first production venture with the upcoming road movie thriller ‘Point Blank’ directed by Sainu Chavakkad.
Sarath’s new production company is named Thiyyama Productions. Shiji Mohammad is also co-producing the film under the banner of DM Productions.
Taking to Facebook, Sarath Appani wrote, “Announcing my next upcoming action thriller POINTBLANK under the banner DM Productions House and also happy to announce my new venture Thiyyama Productions joining with DM Productions. Releasing in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada. Need all your support and prayers.”

Apart from Malayalam, the film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi as Pan India releases. Filming is scheduled to start on August 17 in Goa. Apart from Goa, the film will be shot in Mahe, Chennai, Kochi and Trichy.
The film stars Appani Sarath in the lead role and stars Malayalam and Tamil actors. Boney Assanar, one of the partners of High Hopes Film Factory, is the screenwriter and creative director for the film. Written by Mithun Subran, the film is co-produced by AK Sudheer and BRS Creations. Robin Thomas is the project designer of the film.
The music and background score will be composed by Bimal Pankaj with the lyrics jointly penned by Francis Jijo and Valsalakumari Charummoodu.
