The Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS) has denied all such news reports, which stated that it had withdrawn financial aids being given to students. The TISS scholarships are the financial aids offered to students belonging to SC/ST/OBC communities. Earlier TISS Students Union has started staging protest against the administration, citing that students had stopped receiving financial aids.
However, reporting to all such news reports, TISS officials stated that it continues providing scholarships to all of its eligible students.
