Rahul again criticizes Padmaja Venugopal in Mangkoot. He says that he does not understand why Padmaja Venugopal is filing a case and Congress members including me should file a case against Padmaja. Rahul also explained in Mangoota that he said Padmaja can no longer claim K Karunakaran's greatest value, the secular tradition. Rahul added that Muralidharan can claim that political fatherhood of K Karunakarunakaran.
On the other hand, the state leadership gave a grand welcome to Padmaja, who came to Kerala after joining the BJP. After giving a grand reception at the airport itself, the BJP later reached the state office and welcomed them there. Padmaja was welcomed by BJP state leaders K Surendran and V Muralidharan. Padmaja clarified to the media that there was already dissatisfaction within the Congress, she liked Narendra Modi's methods and learned Modi as a strong leader when she studied him more.
Even though so many people have left, Congress is not good enough, it has been staying away from Congress for the past three years, it has created an unworkable situation even in its own constituency, some people have tried to run it from Thrissur, it has been humiliated inside the party like every day, K Karunakaran did not even fulfill his promise to build a memorial, K Karunakaran burst into tears sitting in front of the KPCC president. Padmaja said that she did not feel like standing where she was insulted, Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi did not have time to listen to complaints, no one thought that she would take such a decision.
