VD Satheesan said that Siddharth did not commit suicide but was killed by SFI criminals. VD Satheesan was speaking after inaugurating the indefinite hunger strike started in front of the Secretariat by the presidents of KSU, Youth Congress and Mahila Congress demanding that the CBI should investigate the killers to bring them to justice.
VD Satheesan also said that the Dean who supported SFI's Naranayat should be fired. V D Satheesan said that it was the CPM that kept all the accused in the case in hiding and that they have no faith in the Kerala Police.

He has no faith in the Kerala Police. VD Satheesan accused the police of protecting the criminal gang by imposing frivolous charges.
“The State Secretary of SFI initiated this work in the campus. SFI is a gang of criminals. During Pinarayi Vijayan's time, Kerala became a cucumber town. Siddharth's death should be investigated by CBI. No faith in Kerala Police's investigation. The CM's mind is a criminal mind. So all the criminals will be protected. Dean should be made an accused in the case…” said VD Satheesan.
