Skoda Auto has introduced a price hike for its cars. As per the latest price chart, all Skoda models would now cost more than INR 35,000 than the current pricing. Backed by a change in custom duties, the new price chart would come in effect from March 1 onwards. It was the recently concluded Union Budget, which revised custom duties. Commenting on the same, Skoda Auto officials maintained that only 1 percentage of increase would be introduced by the company.
However, the multi step price increase will result in Skoda models getting a price hike of up to 4 percentage.
