Marking a proud moment for India, a group of scientists – including Indian origin – have developed a new smartphone app. The app along with the hardware, is said to be able to measure blood pressure more accurately than the present set of equipments. It was a group of scientists from the Michigan State University in the US, who invented the app.
Well, the system uses two sensors for the purpose of handling the duty: optical sensor and force sensor. Both the sensor would be placed on the backside of the phone. Once the app is activated, users can know their blood pressure status by pressing their hands over the sensory unit.
