Tamil superstar Suriya’s two blockbuster hits – ‘Soorarai Pottru’ and ‘Jai Bhim’ which were released direct-to-digital platform, will be getting a re-release in cinemas soon. The actor will be celebrating his birthday on July 23 and to mark this occasion, the two films will be screened in Chennai theatres from July 22 – July 24.
‘Soorarai Pottru’ is a biopic drama directed by Sudha Kongara about the rise of a businessman who works towards creating his own airline service for people with low budgets.
‘Jai Bhim’ is also an intense film that was adapted from real-life events. The movie focuses on how lawyer Chandru fights for the basic rights of the tribal people settled in Tamil Nadu.
On the work front, Suriya will start shooting for his next film ‘Vaadivaasal’ directed by Vetrimaaran, after ‘Vanangaan’.
