Minister Antony Raju said that KSRTC will establish a group booking system for Sabarimala pilgrims. There should be at least 40 devotees in a group. A special service will be conducted on the basis of group bookings to Sabarimala, focusing on various Ayyappa temples in Kerala.
KSRTC will operate one bus per/every minute from Nilakkal to Pampa. A special queue system will be provided for senior citizens to board the vehicle. 200 buses will operate Nilakkal – Pampa chain service. 300 buses will be operated from various centers of the state to Pampa and 1,000 buses on Makaravilakku.
A huge increase in the number of pilgrims is expected this year compared to previous years. In view of security, goods vehicles and auto-rickshaws will be restricted from coming to Pampa.
