The recent bomb blasts took place in Sri Lanka, has prompted police officials to take precautionary measurements. By asking the hotels and home stays in Kochi to be alert on the wake of the bomb blasts, Kerala police has instructed them to tighten the security of the enterprises. Authorities have reportedly asked them to send the complete details of people staying there, before 9pm every day.
Those hotels and home stays, which prefer to not follow the order, would be subjected to raids by the authorities. Earlier, the intelligence reports suggested that the terrorist groups, which blasted bombs in Sri Lanka, would now be shifting their focus to Kerala.
