Kollam: A policeman from the Chief Minister’s escort team challenged to stop the vehicle of the New Kerala Congress at Kollam Kadakkal. The challenge was made by a policeman named MS Gopikrishnan. The challenge was through social media.
His challenge is in the form of a comment under the Facebook post of Kummil Shamir, a Youth Congress worker. The comment was ‘When the car comes, stop it’.
Meanwhile, after the controversy, he deleted the comment. He is a native of Kadaikal.
Meanwhile, the Youth Congress protested at the house of the gunman who had beaten up the black flag protestors in Alappuzha.
When they tried to cover the barricade, there was a push and shove between the policemen and Youth Congress workers. Water cannons were fired twice.
But the activists pelted stones at the police. With this, the police lathicharged the activists again.
