Actress Sunny Leone’s photo appeared on the hall ticket of a student appearing for Karnataka Teachers’ Eligibility Test-2022. A screenshot of the admit card has gone viral on social media.
The Karnataka education department has lodged a complaint with police. Shivamogga cyber unit officers have launched a probe into the incident.
The candidate belonged to Koppa, Chikmagalur district and had applied for a teacher’s post in Shivamogga. She attended the exam held on Sunday.
The candidate managed to replace Sunny Leone’s photo with hers on the hall ticket using the dit option with the help of officials from the Department of Public Instruction, Deccan Herald reported. However, the change did not reflect in the system.
The candidate was allowed to write the exam by pasting her photo and signing on the spot.
She added that her application was fine when she got a printout after submitting it.
Karnataka Congress social media chairperson BR Naidu on Tuesday took to Twitter and alleged that the state education department had printed the photo of the actress on the hall ticket instead of the candidate’s photo.
