Actor Suresh Gopi, who is also known for his philanthropy, handed over Rs 4 lakh to build a house for Neethi Kodungallur. Neethi was once popular in the advertising field in the Malayalam film industry.
Suresh Gopi took the initiative after realising that Neethi Kodungallur has been living in a rented house all these years. The Paappan actor raised funds from Lakshmi Charitable Trust, formed in the memory of his late daughter.
The amount was transferred to the joint account of BJP Mala constituency president KS Anoop and ward member Anila. The particular amount will be used to build a house with 450 square feet in the property owned by Neethi Kodungallur at Pooppathy in Poyya panchayat.
Neethi Kodungallur is awaiting the visit of Suresh Gopi so that he could hand over a portrait of the actor he had painted recently.
