Suresh Gopi, who has left the hospital earlier the day, said that it was due to the persistent requests from the leaders of BJP that he decided to contest for Kerala Assembly Election 2021. While meeting the media, the superstar maintained that it was his choice to contest from Thrissur, though several other constituencies were offered for him. However, the star made it clear that he is still reluctant to be part of this.
Meanwhile, doctors have advised the star to take adequate rest before starting the campaigns. The action king added that he would have to take covid vaccination first, only after which, he would start campaigning. When asked about his chance of success, the star was of the opinion that no one could predict the preference of voters. The star also condemned the state of underrepresentation of women candidates in all the political parties.
