Tamil superstar Suriya will play a cameo role in the Hindi remake of ‘Soorarai Pottru’. Suriya was impeccable in the film, based on the life story of Air Deccan founder AR Gopinath.
Directed by Sudha Kongara, the film skipped the theatrical release on release directly on a popular OTT platform, and it received massive responses. Akshay Kumar reprises Suriya in the Hindi remake of ‘Soorarai Pottru’, and the film shooting is underway.
Sudha Kongara is only directing the remake and according to reports, the team has retained most of the crew members from the original version. Suriya met Akshay Kumar during the shooting to wish the actor for the remake, and he will also be appearing for a glimpse in the remake.
On the other hand, Suriya is currently shooting for his untitled film with director Bala.
