Former manager of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Disha Salian’s parents have written to President Ram Nath Kovind urging him to take action against Union Minister Narayan Rane and his son Nitesh Rane. Disha had died by suicide before Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.
According to the letter, the father-son duo is allegedly politicizing their daughter’s death. It read, ‘We request you to issue directions to authorities to take appropriate steps so justice can be done, otherwise, we will end our lives’.
Disha’s mother Vasanti Salian made emotional appeal to politicians saying ,” I have lost my only daughter. These people are defaming us. They are dragging my daughter’s name in their politics. This should stop. Let us live peacefully.”
Last year, Mumbai police had closed the investigation into the death of Salian as they did not find any evidence to support allegations linking her death with that of Sushant. She had also been the manager to actors like Bharti Singh, Rhea Chakraborty and Varun Sharma.
