Tata Motors is gearing up for unveiling Tata H5 (Q501) at the Auto Expo 2018. The SUV, which will have two variants – Five Seater/Seven Seater, are also based on the Land Rover Discovery Sport’s L550 Platform. That said, company officials maintained that Tata H5 will have a different pattern of design.
As far as the locomotive is concerned with, Tata H5 is expected to be powered by FCA’s 2.0 liter, four cylinder MultiJet II diesel engine. The engine will churn out 140bhp for the five seater, whereas it is 170bhp for the seven seater. Expected to be priced in the range of INR 13 Lakh to 15 Lakh, the Tata H5 SUV is sure to take on the likes of Jeep Compass, Mahindra XUV500 and Hyundai Creta.
