Two people, including a nurse, died after a lorry collided with two-wheelers in Cheranallur, Ernakulam. Another seriously injured person was admitted to the hospital. The lorry that was coming after hit the two-wheelers going towards Edappally.
The accident happened around 10.30 am on Monday. Lisa Antony (38) and Naseeb (35), who were bikers, died. Lisa, a nurse at Amrita Hospital, hails from Panaiikulam Chirayam. Naseeb is a native of Mannam North Paravoor.
After the lorry hit, the two-wheeler passengers were thrown onto the road. Lisa and Naseeb were rushed to the hospital but could not be saved.
