Controversy over the poster issued in the name of the Director of the Department of Cultural Archeology in connection with the renovation of the temple entrance announcement monument at the Travancore headquarters.
In the poster, the director of the archeology department says that the entrance to the temple was equally dedicated by the pious hymnist Sri Chithirathila Maharaja.
A lot of criticism is coming on social media against the poster of the Department of Archeology, which hides the truth that temple entry is the justice achieved by rights-conscious people leading processions, breaking down fences, ringing temple bells, breaking heads and fasting.
Many people have come forward against this controversial poster on social media. A post written by a social media user named Shibu Gopalakrishnan is gaining attention. How to post-
This is how the temple entrance announcement begins.
Sripadmanabhadasa Vanchipala Sir Ramavarma Kulasekhara Kiryapati Mannesultan Maharaja Rajaramaraja Bahadur Shamsherjung Knight Grant Commander of the Most Eminent Order of the Indian Empire By His Majesty the Maharaja of Travancore Thirumanass Promulgation dated 12th November 1936 correct 1112 Tulam 27.
From there we walked and reached here. It was not a gift from the Maharaja. Temple entry is justice achieved by right-minded people leading processions, breaking down fences, ringing temple bells, breaking heads and fasting. Ayyankali, KV Kunhiraman, Dr Palpu, TK Madhavan, K Kelappan, AKG, P Krishnapilla, KP Kesavamenon and Mannath Padmanabhan rallied Kerala without any hesitation and captured the right of people to enter the temple regardless of caste.
The temples that were opened were the Brahmin-centered Sanatana caste concepts that got a head start on the soil of Kerala. On this occasion, we remember the Diwan CP who persuaded the king to do this by accepting the Travancore government’s secret report that if this is not done, the people will convert en masse and Hinduism will be alienated here.
All these ways have been discovered by humans together so that there are no other ways.
It should not be appeased by making speeches that would make even a court poet ashamed. All these addresses have moved me. Don’t drag a modern society into it. Don’t do the subjugation at our expense that is still lurking somewhere in the palace courtyard.
The Director of the Department of Antiquities must not be a sacred antiquary.
