The car driven by Baiju hit the biker at the Vellayambalam Junction in Thiruvananthapuram. The biker was not seriously injured. Locals have also come out saying that the actor was drunk. In a video released by Manorama News, it is said that ‘he was hit and fit, he did not want to get out of the car, he was released by force.’ The actor said that he will not be afraid of seeing this. The museum police has registered a case against Baiju. Baiju was not ready for medical examination. The actor was taken straight from the accident site to the Museum police station. He was taken to the hospital after the breathalyzer test showed that he was positive.

The actor was taken to the hospital but refused to give blood samples for medical examination. Following this, the doctor handed over the medical report to the police stating that Baiju smelled of alcohol and was not ready for medical attention. If the breathalyzer test result is not legally valid, the doctor’s report is sufficient, police said.
The police have registered a case under section 279 of the Indian Penal Code for speeding and under section 185 of the Motor Vehicle Act for drunken driving. A relative was also in the vehicle with Baiju. Baiju was released on bail by the station at one o’clock in the night. The fact that the injured person did not file a complaint also helped the actor in getting out on station bail. The tire of Baiju’s car was punctured due to the impact of the accident. Later, the driver of the Baiju was called and the car was brought to the station after the tire was changed. The police took the car into custody.
