Owing to this Sunday’s ease in lockdown norms, the beverage outlets across the state would remain open. Soon after getting the information from the government, a collective the decision was taken by Bars, Bevco, Consumer fed, and Toddy shops across the state, to function like a week day. Earlier, as part of the norm of a complete lockdown in Sundays, the beverage outlets remained closed.
The state has got a total of 576 bar hotels, 291 bear shops, 265 Bevco shops and 36 Consumer Fed shops. It was owing to the conductance of examinations across the state that the government of Kerala decided to ease the lockdown norms on Sundays.
