Kollam: A child has identified a person who was caught from Thenkashi in the case of abducting a six-year-old girl in Oyur.
The child identified Padmakumar, who was caught by the police from Tenkasi. Padmakumar is a native of Chathannur. His wife Kavita and daughter Anupama are the others in custody.
Interrogation of the three persons arrested at Adoor KAP camp is going on. The shadow team of Kollam City Police took the accused into custody.
The accused were arrested on the fifth day after the incident. They were caught when they came to eat at a hotel in Tengashi Puliyara. It is suggested that financial transactions with the child’s father are behind the crime. More information is becoming available.
