The first teaser of the Saiju Kurup starrer ‘Porattu Nadakam’, presented by director Siddique and directed by Noushad Saffron is released. The film is touted to be a political satire revolving around the current socio-political incidents. Porattu Nadakam was made under the supervision of the late director Siddique. The film is produced by Vijayan Pallikkara under the banner of Emirates Productions. The screenplay of the film is written by Suneesh varanad, known for his films such as ‘Mohanlal’ and ‘Eesho’, and is also the 2023 Kerala Sahithya Akademi Award winner in the best humour category. Apart from Saiju Kurup, Rahul Madhav, Dharmajan Bolgatti, Ramesh Pisharody, Sunil Sugatha, Nirmal Palazhi, Rajesh Azheekode, Babu Annur, Sooraj Thelakkad, Anil Baby, Shukkoor Vakeel, Sivdas Mattannoor, Sibi Thomas, Faizal, Chithra Shenoy, Chithra Nair, Aiswarya Mithun, Jijina, Geethi Sangeetha and others also play lead roles in the film. The film is set to release on 9th August in theatres worldwide, colliding with the first death anniversary of director Siddique.
