Kochi: Husband killed his wife after giving birth. Baby took his own life after killing his wife Smita in Kakkadu Nediyanikukhi Tharamamat on Sunday morning.
They also tried to kill their children Shweta and Anna. Both daughters were cut. Both the injured were admitted to Kalamassery Medical College Hospital.
It is reported that their injuries are not serious. The incident happened in the morning. After killing his wife Smita, Baby hanged himself inside the house.
The incident came to light when the girls called their neighbors on the phone. It is not clear what was the motive for the murder. Police reached the spot and started investigation.
The locals say that the baby had previously shown mental illness.
