Thrissur: The husband who killed his wife was found dead after being hit by a train in Koratti Khanna Nagar. Fattilly Binu killed his wife Sheeja. The incident happened around 5:30 in the morning. Eleven and eight-year-old children were seriously injured and admitted to the hospital.
Bhatalli Binu, his wife Sheeja and their 2 children studying in 6th standard and LKG lived on rent in Khanna Nagar. Binu’s livelihood was selling fish. Sheeja worked as a seamstress.
Locals say that there was a fight at home because of Binu not going to work for two months. Locals who came to the festival came to know about it when Kooti ran to the nearby temple premises with the injured body around 5:30 in the morning.
After leaving the children at the hospital, she opened the house and found Sheeja lying dead. But Binu was searched but was not found. Then the locals informed the police.
While the Korati police were searching for Binu, they learned that Binu had been hit by a train and died. The dead body was on the railway track behind the Korati Community Hall. The initial conclusion is that Binu committed suicide by killing his wife.
