AR Rahman is one of the most loved stars of Malayalees. He was once one of the most in-demand music directors in India. But later his market crashed. He is the main reason for this. Instead of doing songs on his own, he does songs with his bandmates. Then his name will be put in the film. Not only did the quality of the songs go down day by day, all of Eze’s songs failed to chart.

That is how his market value fell. That is why he later ventured into small industries including Malayalam. One of the films for which he directed the music was Aadujeetvam. This movie was directed by Blessy. Prithviraj played the central character in the movie.

The film’s soundtrack was submitted for Grammy Award consideration but was disqualified. Now Rahman is openly telling the reason for this. Now Rahman says that Grammy and Oscar have a lot of criteria and they will be considered for the award only if they meet all of them. Rahman revealed all these things in a recent interview to a media.

“The Grammys and the Oscars have a lot of criteria. They will be considered for the award only if they meet all of them 100%. The soundtrack of the movie Aadu Jivetham was dedicated to her. But the music went a minute short of their suggested length. They rejected the song for that one reason only. Grammy’s tick box is bigger than we think. They will be considered for the award only if all the criteria are met. Ponnin Selvan had planned to send tracks from both parts for the Oscars and Grammys in previous years, but that didn’t happen,” says Rahman.
