Filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri’s blockbuster ‘The Kashmir Files’ was a super hit and became the first Hindi film to cross Rs 250 crore mark at the box office in the post-pandemic period.
The exodus drama will now have a world digital premiere on ZEE5, which will be accessible in across 190+ countries in multiple languages like Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. Although the date of release has not yet been confirmed, there are reports that the film may be available on the OTT platform from the next month, May.

‘The Kashmir Files’ revolves around an exodus of Kashmiri Hindus in the disputed region of Kashmir. The plot frequently switches between the contemporary period set in the year 2020 and flashbacks to 1989–1990 throughout the film. The film stars Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumaar, Pallavi Joshi, Chinmay Mandlekar and Puneet Issar.
