The family says that the message circulating that the body of lorry driver Arjun has been found is false. The fake message was spread through social media. The accompanying voice message also states that the ring on Arjun’s hand has been identified.
At the same time, Karnataka is preparing to bring in fresh equipment for the search. Arjun has been missing for 17 days. Arjun’s lorry was found stuck in the mud in the river Gangavali after an extensive search on land and water.
The Navy tried for days but could not lift the lorry due to the current in the river and bad weather. Drones and boom excavators were used in the search.
