Drishyam is a movie that has become one of the milestones of Malayalam cinema. The film was directed by Jithu Joseph and released in 2013. The film is produced by Anthony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirvad Productions and stars Mohanlal in the lead role. The second part of the film is now in the pipeline.
The shooting of the second part started in the same house where the first part was shot. The video of Mohanlal arriving at his house in a car was widely circulated on social media yesterday. Scene 2 has been widely criticized for not following the Kovid protocol.
But Mohanlal himself has now come out in response to all the criticism. The shooting progresses only by following the Kovid protocol. All cast and crew will be admitted to the set only after thermal scanning prior to shooting. As part of this, Mohanlal himself released a video of himself performing a thermal checkup on his official Facebook page.
