In the second Pinarayi government, the two-and-a-half-year term set for the ministry of parties with only one MLA is ending this month. Therefore, the CPM state secretariat meeting will be held at 10 am today and the Left Front meeting at 3 pm. A decision will be taken today after the Reorganization Ministers tour of Kerala. The terms of Anthony Raju and Indian National League (INL) representative Ahmed Devarkovil will end on 20th of this month. According to the agreement reached during the formation of the cabinet, the reorganization should take place by November 25. The consensus in the Left Front is that KB Ganesh Kumar and Gadanapally Ramachandran will replace them. But the debate today is whether the Navkerala Sadas, which will begin on November 18, is over or reorganization is enough.

At the same time, Navkerala Sadas is a program that travels through 140 constituencies. As it is the assessment of the government, the opinion that all the ministers should be in the program has been raised within the front. Therefore, it is likely that the LDF will come to the decision of reorganization only after the Navakerala Sadas. There are reports that the Kerala Congress has sent a letter to the leadership of the B front demanding reorganization before the Navakerala Sadas.

Posters and boards of the New Kerala Sadas have been prepared including the pictures of the existing ministers. In this situation, the reorganization will take place after the completion of the constituency tour on December 24. Apart from the reorganization of the cabinet, the demand to increase the price of 13 subsidized essential commodities distributed through SupplyCo will also be discussed in the meeting.
