Now we see a very interesting sight. This view is seen from the place called Ambalavayal. There is a dam here at Karapuzha. A bridge that sank when the water began to accumulate has now reappeared. Nathamkuni Bridge has now reappeared. This bridge was submerged in water 20 years ago. Now visitors are coming to see this bridge.

The water level in the dam was largely reduced due to intense heat. This is how the sunken bridge came up again. Now the locals are flocking to see this nostalgic sight. All the water sources in the tributaries of the Karapuzha Dam had dried up during the severe summer. After this, the water level drops significantly.

During the summer season, water supply through the Left and Valiyakara canals was going on normally. Due to the severe drought in Pulpalli and Mullankolli region, the water from Karapuzha dam was released there for the first time in history. With this, the water level is falling again.

Even for the locals, this was just an old bridge in their memories. Now, after 20 years, an opportunity has come to walk through it again. Although it has been under water for some time, the old bridge has not sustained any damage. The old path leading to the bridge on both sides is now exposed. The locals have accepted this bridge very emotionally.
