Alappuzha: SNDP leader Vellappally Natesan ridiculed Padmaja's entry into the BJP. Vellappally said that there is no advantage for BJP because of Padmaja.
Vellappally said that the BJP will not get any benefit from Padmaja except for getting membership fees.
K Muraleedharan said that he would leave the relationship. Padmaja showed the hereditary character. He also reminded that his father Karunakaran had also left the party.
Meanwhile, Tushar Vellappally said that after Padmaja's entry into the BJP, a decision will be taken within two days regarding the change in BDJS seats.

Meanwhile, there are rumors that Padmaja will contest from Chalakudy constituency as she joins BJP. Chalakudy is currently the constituency of BDJS. With Padmaja contesting, there may be a change in the constituency of BDJS.
