Thiruvananthapuram: Finance Minister KN Balagopal said that there is no serious financial crisis in the state. One month’s welfare pension has started in the state. 200 crores paid for rice storage. The minister also said that financial assistance was given to popular hotels and Asha workers.
At the same time, the minister also criticized the central government. The Minister said that the Center is withholding the money due to Kerala even saying that there is no dot or comma in the application. The minister also said that the MPs agreed to file a petition against the central government’s action.

Anganwadi residents who have completed 10 years will get Rs. Rs 500 for those below ten years and Rs 1000 for ASHA workers. The minister also informed that about one lakh people will be benefited.
The minister had earlier responded that the financial crisis in the state is a fact, but in the meantime, the Center is squeezing the opposition states including Kerala financially.
