BJP leader Sandeep G Warrier has come up with some serious allegations against the critics of two recently released Malayalam movies – ‘Marakkar’ and ‘Kaval’. While taking social media spaces, he maintained that he had seen both movies and loved their making. Sandeep added that he was so happy to see that theatres become crowded once again, after a very long time.
Sandeep G Warrier stated that the aggressive criticisms that both these films had faced, were the result of a group of people with a definite agenda. The politician commented that even before the first shows of these movies were over, social media pages were filled with negative reviews.
Sandeep G Warrier advised people to not mix religion or any other matters with art. The noted spokesperson of BJP in Kerala lashed out the cultural leaders in Kerala for not discussing this issue. Meanwhile, in spite of the mixed reports, both ‘Kaval’ and ‘Marakkar’ – respectively starring Suresh Gopi and Mohanlal, managed to get record collections from the box office.
