As Thrissur Pooraj is all set to begin, Minister VS Sunil Kumar has maintained that the event would take place, as it did last year. Adding that the security would be tightened this year, on the wake of the blasts in Sri Lanka, the Minister mentioned about deploying more police officials during the event.
While speaking on the security measurements, Minister stated that more CCTV cameras would be installed, while he requested people to avoid carrying hand bags, carry bags, while they attend the event. The ceremonies, including the fireworks would take place, as was planned, and under the order of Supreme Court.
