Thunchath Ezhuthachan Malayalam University has invited applications for Post Graduate Degree Courses for the academic year 2020-21. MA In Linguistics, M.A. M.A. in Literature (Literary Studies) Malayalam (Literature), MA Malayalam (Cultural Heritage Studies), MA In Journalism & Mass Communications, MA / MSc Environmental Studies, MA Development Studies (Indigenous Development), MA History, M.A. Sociology, M.A. Applications are invited for the 10 courses of Film Studies.
A maximum of 20 students will be admitted to each course. Basic eligibility for admission to courses is a BA / BSc / BCom degree obtained from a recognized university. However, the MSc Environmental Studies course can be applied to any undergraduate who has studied Science as a plus-level subject and who is expected to appear for the undergraduate examination.
Eligibility: Applicants should not be over 28 years of age on 01st April 2020. (Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Differently abled persons may attain 30 years of age) Entrance Examination will be written for each course. One can write entrance test for a maximum of three courses. Candidates appearing for the Literary Course must bring their own work (one story / two poems / criticism) not exceeding five pages at the time of examination and submit it along with the answer sheet of the examination. (The name should not be written in the text.).
Eligibility for age and reservation benefit / Proof of documents, noncrimereel certificate and marks list of undergraduate examination should be produced at the time of original admission. Details of examination center, venue, date and time will be shown on the hall ticket. The exam center will be Tirur. Given the multiplicity of applicants and the availability of the exam center, a decision will be taken later in the allotment of exam center in Kozhikode and Ernakulam.
