The first look poster of ‘Neelavelicham’, directed by Aashiq Abu and starring Tovino Thomas was released on Tuesday. The film is based on the famous short story of the same name by Vaikom Mohammad Basheer. Neelavelicham is the story of a young storyteller who has to live in a house notorious for ghosts.
The project was announced a year ago with Prithviraj as the hero. Kunchacko Boban was also roped in the film. But Prithviraj and Chackochan withdrew from the film after a long schedule of other films during the COVID restrictions. Roshan Mathews and Shine Tom Chacko have joined Tovino. Rima Kallingal will also be in the film. Gireesh Gangadharan is the cinematographer of the film.

This will be the fourth film in which Tovino and Aashiq have teamed up. Mayanadi, Virus and Naradhan were the first three films of the duo. The film will be released in December.
