Triple Lock Down is imposed in Thrissur district, Kerala from midnight on 17th May 2021. Permission is granted only for emergencies such as death and treatment. The grocery store and bakery are open only on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Fruit and vegetable shops on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
The shops are open only from 8 am to 1 pm. Delivery of goods was reduced to ward level committees and home delivery only. That means you can’t go out and buy household items. The only solution here is home delivery. The directive also states that only three customers can be admitted at a time within the permitted establishments.
Additional restrictions & guidelines in Thrissur district are as follows:
Milk and newspaper distribution can be done every day
Fish, Meat, Poultry and Cold Storage Saturday only from 7am to 1pm
Hotels may be open for home delivery from 8am to 7pm.
Ration Shop, Public Distribution Center, Co-operative Societies Stores and Dairy Societies from 8 am to 5 pm
In all the above systems only home delivery and RRT delivery is allowed.
Banks on Tuesdays and Fridays
Co-operative Banks are open on Mondays and Thursdays from 10 am to 1 pm
Medical stores and hospitals may operate. Dental institutions are not allowed.
Marriages are not allowed. Urgent events can only be performed by 20 people.
Street vending and house-to-house vending is not permitted.
