The prime accused in the Tripunithura Puthikav firecracker blast case have surrendered. Vadakumbugha Karayogam office bearers reached the police station and surrendered.
Sajeev Kumar, Sathyan, Rajesh and Rajeev, who are in charge of Vadakkumbhaga Karayogam, reached the Tripunithura Hill Palace Police Station and surrendered.
The accused will be produced in the court at 4 pm. A case has been filed against them for murder.
An explosion took place on February 12 at eleven o'clock in the day in the building where Churakad firecrackers were stored near Tripunithura Puthikav temple.

Firecrackers brought for Puthikav temple festival caught fire and the explosion took place. The firecrackers brought from Palakkad were being unloaded from the tempo traveler and were being moved to a nearby concrete building when the explosion occurred.
In addition to the loss of two lives, the local residents suffered a loss of crores due to the explosion. At the same time, there are two groups of fireworks here.
After the explosion, the office-bearers of the southern party were taken into custody and their arrests were registered after they were found to have set off firecrackers without permission the day before. Apart from them, the police had registered a case against many others.
