Twitter has announced that they it was ending the support given for the dedicated desktop Mac application. While announcing the news, Twitter officials said that they would be focusing on providing consistent performance of Twitter across all platforms. Adding that no more can a user download Twitter for Mac app, the tweet made by Twitter also said that it would also end the support for Twitter for Mac in 30 days.
Launched in 2015, Twitter Mac hasn’t been the most productive outing from Twitter. The Mac app, hasn’t been getting regular updates from the parent company.
