On Sunday morning, a tourist bus collided with a KSRTC bus in Angamaly, taking the life of a woman.
The deceased has been identified as Selena Shafi, a Malappuram native and she was in the KSRTC bus.
The accident happened around 5.45 am near the KSRC bus depot in Angamaly. The bus rammed the rear of a low-floor KSRTC bus while entering the depot from the main road.
Seleena who was seated in the rear seat was thrown off into the road in the impact. She received major injuries as her head hit the road. Though she was rushed to the hospital her life could not be saved.
The tourist bus was proceeding to Pathanamthitta from Bengaluru.
