Two youths, including a film-serial-album actor, were caught by the police with MDMA. The Thrissur Rural DANSAF team led by Thrissur Rural District Crime Branch DySP Shaj Jose and the Koratti Police arrested the youth with 5 grams of MDMA from near Vettukadavu bridge under Koratti police station’s jurisdiction.
As part of the government’s anti-narcotics campaign, widespread raids and operations were continuing in Thrissur district. Meanwhile, following a tip-off received by Thrissur Rural District Police Chief Aishwarya Dongre, a special police team arrested the youth during a vehicle search near the Melur Vettukadavu Bridge.
Arun, son of Viswanathan and Nikhil, son of Kumaran were arrested. Arun has acted in a few Malayalam movies, serials and short films.
