Uber has launched its Uber Eats app in Kochi. The app, which can be used for ordering food from restaurants, is sure to make use of the ever growing urban population of Kochi. Reportedly, more than 200 restaurants in the city have partnered with Uber Eats. During the initial phase, the following areas would come under the purview of Uber Eats – Kaloor, Marine Drive, Panampilly Nagar, Elamkulam.
While launching the service, officials have maintained that Uber Eats would be charging INR 1 as their service charge.
